WOT What is Frontline

Frontline is a special game mode for World of Tanks that is available approximately four weeks per year.

The game has 30 vs 30 players on a huge map divided into nine quadrants (3x3).

One team is assaulting, and the other team is defending.

You win the game by destroying three of the final objectives in the northern part of the map.

In order to advance, you must capture bases in the southern zones, which forces the defenders to retreat. This allows you to advance towards the final objective.

The games last about 25 minutes.

The total map size is approximately nine times larger than a regular random battle map. This is because it is nine maps stitched together, and you can travel between adjoining maps as long as you have unlocked that zone by capturing a base.

Random battles are 15 vs 15. Frontline players will be in three starting zones with 10 vs 10 in each zone.

Players are free to travel around the map in adjacent zones, or to respawn in a distant zone, as long as you control the territory.

Frontline features repair areas that allow you to repair your vehicle during battle, and combat reserves that allow you to call in air strikes or other features. You can respawn multiple times in any tier eight tank in your garage that is ready for battle.

Frontline is a unique game mode available on World of Tanks, a massively multiplayer online (MMO) tank-shooting game. In Frontline, players are divided into two opposing teams, with each team receiving its own arsenal of tanks and various upgrades. The main objective of the mode is to capture and hold objectives on a constantly shifting battlefield that resembles the real-life Blitzkrieg strategy employed by many countries during World War II. The team that holds all the objectives wins.

Players start every match on their own base, where they can rally up in preparation for battle. Each player begins with their own personal tank, as well as access to one or more support tanks such as self-propelled guns. During battles, players must fight against enemy tanks and other obstacles while also attempting to capture objectives scattered across the map. As the match progresses, new objectives are revealed that can be captured for additional points towards victory. Additionally, there may be specific tasks assigned to individual players that award XP and medals if successfully completed.

Frontline features an ever-evolving battlefield design which rewards teamwork and strategic thinking over individual bravado alone. Players must work together to effectively control territory by managing ammunition resources wisely and making sure key locations are held at all times. With no two matches ever being exactly alike, Frontline requires fast thinking and quick reflexes to succeed – but most importantly it requires careful consideration of how each move affects the overall strategy of the entire team!
