reasons why I don't like to use flash

Post by root »

there are a few problems with using flash photography

- it can produce unwanted shadows

- it can light areas that should not be lit, such as inside a person's mouth

- it can look weird on people's faces to have a flash instead of natural light, because the flash might remove all shadows, removing the depth of the photo

- flash light can be seen in people's eyes and reflected off glasses

Camera Flash
1. Camera flashes can produce a harsh light that is too bright and creates unflattering shadows on the subject’s face.
2. Camera flashes often create distracting reflections when taking photos indoors or in low-light environments.
3. The intensity of a camera flash may cause people to look unnatural in photographs due to the overly bright lighting conditions.
4. Some cameras do not have a powerful enough flash for optimal results, which can lead to blurry images with washed out colors.
5. Using a camera flash requires additional time to set up and adjust the settings, making it less convenient than other methods of outputting images.

I typically don't like to use camera flash because it can be harsh and cause subjects to appear washed out. Additionally, flash can be disruptive in low-light settings and can cause glares.
