motorcycle won't start

sometimes my motorcycle won't start.

- it helps to start it if it is moving, so I push it while starting

- sometimes I just hold the crank a long time. it makes a weak attempt first, hold it another 5 seconds, then it starts

- sometimes I use the kickstart to charge the battery, then use the electric start

- turn the lights off when starting, makes it easier

if you are low on oil, it is harder to start the engine, and it will stall more often.
