when looking or hunting for SPG, only shoot for SPG. enemy tanks will respawn near the SPG and you won't want to fire at newly spawned tanks. don't worry, newly spawned tanks will head towards your team, they will get there for battle.
Just go for the SPG and then split.
If everyone heads towards the spawns, it will ruin the game, and then WG will have to add restrictions, and it is better to have freedom in the game than restrictions due to unfair sportsmanship.
Frontline strategy
Re: Frontline strategy
You will always find a use for Inspire.
Artillery strikes take practice, as do smoke screens. You might want to save them for after you played the game. Always drop them as soon as they are ready, otherwise you might not get a chance.
The combat reserves are confusing. They are assigned to different keys on different tanks, and some take practice.
Engineering does not need to be activated. So at the right time it takes effect, which makes it good for beginners. Also is good for XP if you know how to use it.
Any time someone starts capping, drop a smoke screen on them to help them out.
Re: Frontline strategy
The final objectives had weak vents on the rear.
Prepare a fast light tank autoloader with mostly HE rounds, and at the end of the game, spawn in, rush the turret with HE loaded, and fire at the round vents (highlighted in yellow in sample image above). You will do about 25% more damage per shot. While reloading, run and hide somewhere.
Go for turrets that have low HP or are in areas that are lightly defended.
Make sure you have a light tank in your garage prepared for doing this.
Re: Frontline strategy
When defending, only fall back a small amount. Keep firing at the enemy while retreating. However, pay attention as to whether they are advancing with fast tanks or slow tanks. They can easily overrun you if they are fast, and you deal more damage if they are slow.
Pick a fall back position, take 1 shot, and if you have a long reload, and they have fast vehicles, keep falling back. If they are slow, this is when you can do a lot of damage as they cross vulnerable territory.
If your allies are too far away to help, just assume you will have to retreat at some point. Don't worry the enemy will keep moving forward.
Keep your eye on the minimap and check to see if the enemy leaves your zone, and use the TAB key to count how many enemy tanks are in your zone.
Alert your allies if you need help.
Send messages like:
"Respawn at D" if your zone needs help
"Do not spawn at D" if you have too many allies

Re: Frontline strategy
The best strategy for assaulting.
All allies move into cap B at start of game. The whole team. Then, advance to cap E. This is the easiest way to open the final objectives. By now the enemy will reposition, so you do your final push with slow tanks at 3 and 4. Fast tanks go to 1 and 5. Medium speed tanks go to 2. And then you will likely win the game for the assaulting team.

Re: Frontline strategy
The best strategy for defending.
The enemy team spawns in as SPG, and high penetration tank destroyers. Prioritize resetting cap, if they cannot cap, they cannot win.
Build most defenses at final objectives 2, 3, 4, so you can help your allies quickly, and put less defense on 1 and 5. When defending 1 and 5, park between 1 & 2, and between 4 & 5, so you can relocate to 3, 4 and 5 easily.
Put SPGs as close to E, behind 3 & 4, or the middle zones (vertically) so they have the range to hit most of the map.

Re: Frontline strategy
SPG's range is circular, both for firing, and radio.
Therefor, be at the center of the map, so you can hit the most targets. You can easily adjust east or west depending on enemy positioning, and cover most caps.
Reposition to behind 3 & 4 as the enemy opens the final objectives. Again, it will allow you to cover most flanks.
You should have speed, signal boosting, and anything to increase aim time, along with ammo with a high burst radius.
Start at E, fall back to the bridge south of the city, then to the SPG position at the north edge of the map.
Re: Frontline strategy
Autoloaders (not autoreloaders) have long reloads. Like 30 seconds. This is about the time it takes to move across the back of the map, east to west.
Start at one flank, such as west, unload all your rounds. Then go to the east flank, while you are reloading. The west flank spotted you but you ran away, and they will focus on other targets and forget about you. Then you surprise the east flank, who is not aiming at you, unload your rounds, and go back to the west flank. And keep repeating.
Basically with autoloaders, with long reloads, keep driving between flanks, unloading rounds at unsuspecting targets, and try to head for the resupply circles when you need repairs.
On the map above, the yellow line is the path you take. Keep going east and west, back and forth, unloading on enemy targets.
Re: Frontline strategy
Autoloaders can switch between 2 zones while reloading. Go into one zone, such as C, unload all your rounds, go back to B and unload all your rounds, go back to C and unload all your rounds. Good for autoloaders with long reloads. The enemy will forget about you, and may refuse to advance because they assume you will come back immediately. By the time you return, they thought you left, so they are in a vulnerable position.
Go to resupply circles as needed.
This tactic can be used between many maps.
Re: Frontline strategy
Some maps have positions between zones that are perfect for sniping at the maximum number of targets.
You can turn or reposition slightly depending on where the enemy is, and when you move away, they enemy forgets about you.
These positions are good for autoloaders, autoreloaders, and fast tanks that can run and hide, along with light tank destroyers.
