Frontline strategy
Re: Frontline strategy
When defending final objectives, take positions where you can cover 2 or more turrets at the same time, as marked by the yellow stars. You might need to reposition a bit, but you can respond easily to advancing threats by climbing a hill or going around a rock.
These are outlined in my frontline videos, which are filled with tips, and shows me playing the positions.
The 1/2 and 4/5 positions are good for tank destroyers, the 3 position is good for heavy tanks.
Re: Frontline strategy
When approaching a cap or final objective, take the safest route possible, especially if you are slow. Be surrounded by buildings or hills, and stay low if you want to avoid being spotted.
If you enter the position with 2 or more vehicles, you will likely take less damage and may outnumber the defense.
Re: Frontline strategy
When the final objectives open, usually it will be from one specific cap such as D.
As a fast light tank, you can then enter the north zones, and drive to the furthest objective, and start damaging it.
Eventually the enemy will know what is happening, and they will go looking for you. Usually you can unload 1 clip from an autoloader, and then on your second clip you will be spotted and under fire, and on the third clip they will be ramming you.
Ideally, use HE to hit the circular vents. Then flee, and use regular round to hit the side, and head as far away and use gold rounds to snipe the side armor. Maybe you can get a 4th clip in.
It only takes 1 tank to destroy and objective. With a regular tier 8 heavy, you need to hit it about 10 times. With a light tank, maybe 20.

Re: Frontline strategy
I marked the map with yellow stars to denote the sniping positions I use.
For turret 1, go between the buildings on the east of the turret. The buildings will protect you from being shot at, and if you park right, you can hide in some bushes without being spotted. The turrets can spot you. The enemy does not expect you to come here.
For turret 2, go along the river north of the trains, and hit 2 from the east. People know this position so expect someone to come looking for you.
For turret 3, go north of the turret, at the base of the hill, and hit it in the rear.
For turret 4, there is a small hill that shoots into town. The 4 on the map is wrong, it was moved into town. The hill is at the northeast of the train station. Slow tanks should go to the 4 position, because you can hit 4 and 5 from the same spot, on the way north. Also good for STRVs.
For turret 5, there is a small slope and rock beside 5 that you roll up to snipe, and roll back down to reload. Many people know this position now, so it becomes crowded.
You can also go on the easy with a high pen STRV and use gold rounds, and hit 5 from long distance. It is kinda overpowered and unfair so I only do it if we have 1 minute left in the game.
Here is the game winning strategy for sniping the final objectives on this map:

Re: Frontline strategy
The best strategy in World of Tanks for the Frontline game mode is to stay close to teammates and stay in motion. This will help to maintain shared vision and spotting, reduce exposure, and keep your team safe. It is also important to focus on taking out enemy tanks first, rather than any other objectives. Lastly, try to stay hidden when possible and use the terrain to your advantage.
