Nikon D3400 review

Post by root »

Nikon D3400

APS-C

80mm - 300mm lens

HD video. 24mp.

built in flash

I liked this camera.

I thought the photos were smudgy, not very sharp.

I decided to sell it and just use my camcorder because they were similar res, and the camcorder took sharper pictures

got good backgrounds with the 300mm lens

not enough autofocus points

often had to take the lens for repair, or cleaning

I took maybe 50,000 photos with this camera.

I bought it because it was cheap, $400 + $200 for lens, and of all the cameras in that price range, it was the right choice

if I had to do it over again, I wish I had bought a full frame camera like the A7R II.
