How to sell Bitcoin

It took a long time for me to figure out how to sell bitcoin. The online explanations was not useful.

First, I had bitcoin in my Nicehash account.

I opened an account with Kraken.

I set up 2FA (2 factor authentication) using a google chrome extension which may have been developed by Google.

On Kraken, I created a wallet address to receive the funds.

On NiceHash, I initiated the transfer to my Kraken wallet using the Bitcoin network.

I made sure to use the Bitcoin network on Kraken and on NiceHash.

It took a while, maybe over 1 hour, but it worked. The bitcoin was in my Kraken account.

Then I used the Sell option on Kraken to convert bitcoin into US dollars. It happens instantly.

I then did a transfer to my bank account which should happen in the next few days.

My original $154 in bitcoin ended up around $140.
